He joined Harrington Law Firm in 2016 and has since drafted hundreds of wills ranging from straightforward single-property estates to complex arrangements involving trusts for minor children and business assets.
James takes particular care to ensure clients understand the practical effect of every clause in their will, and regularly advises on the transfer of property within families, working alongside conveyancers and tax advisers to ensure transfers comply with current UK property and tax law.
Outside of client work, James contributes to the firm's legal insights blog, writing on topics including intestacy rules and property succession planning.
